collection 001 ”Searching” consists of nine paintings that are the search for a painting style that I feel comfortable with. In addition, in this collection I have used several new tools that I was not familiar with before including palette knives. Each painting is named after the song I had on while painting that has stuck with me.
Collection 002 ”Movement” is all about how we are in constant motion but we don’t realize it. All the paitings in this collection showcase a form of movement but are at rest, how? ”A body on the surface of the Earth may appear to be at rest, but that is only because the observer is also on the surface of the Earth. The Earth itself, together with both the body and the observer, is moving in its orbit around the Sun and rotating on its own axis at all times.”
